Workshop Summary

The workshop emphasized developing risk assessments for ridges and sloughs, restoring flow paths with minimal herbicide use, and monitoring vegetation and microtopography. Key findings include vegetation shifts indicating water depth changes, importance of microtopography for resilience, and the need to recreate sloughs and microtopography to improve conveyance, flood control, and ecosystem health. Performance measures and hydrologic targets are under development.
